CHRISTOPHER T. JONES

President

Chris joined BMC in 1981 as a fourth generation member of a family business and is its majority owner and President. Chris is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania and a Certified Shopping Center Manager. He is actively involved in a number of industry associations, including the Urban Land Institute, the International Council of Shopping Centers, and the US Green Building Council. He is also a founder and director of Forbright Bank. Chris is active in a number of civic and charitable organizations including Rotary International, the Nature Conservancy, and the B-CC Y’s Youth & Family Services.

 

MICHELE HORWITZ CORNWELL

Senior Vice President

Michele brings over 30 years of management experience to her position as Senior Vice President at BMC where she oversees our property management efforts. Prior to joining BMC, Michele supervised the staff and property management of two million square feet of commercial property in the Washington Metropolitan Area. A graduate of Western Maryland College with an MA in Urban Studies from the University of Maryland, Michele is a past Chair of both the Bethesda Urban Partnership and the Greater Bethesda-Chevy Chase Chamber of Commerce and a graduate of Leadership Montgomery. She has years of experience in project entitlement, planning and management, and is a licensed Real Estate Salesperson in Maryland. Michele is currently on the board of the Langston Boulevard Alliance, which is working with Arlington County to create a more economically vibrant and walkable Route 29 corridor.

 

RONALD J. TRACEY, M.B.A.

Vice President

Ronald holds a B.A. from American University and Master’s degrees in Business Administration and Finance from the University of Maryland’s Robert H. Smith School of Business. Since joining BMC in 2012, Ronald has been involved in numerous facets of the business, including acquisitions & dispositions, financial analysis, retail leasing, multi-family management, and market research. Ronald is a licensed Real Estate Salesperson in Maryland and a member of ULI, ICSC and AOBA.
